Antlers

What a busy month starting out with waking up early in the morning to go up to Wewoka Woods for the Presidential Fitness Challenge.  We had a great time getting out our sneakers and challenging ourselves to stay active and continue to keep it up for the year.  What an inspiration to see how the Lord has blessed us in such a wonderful way.   We also had our area camporee at Wewoka Woods and it was a great experience.  Our first night was a little chilly with temperatures getting close to freezing, but our days were sunny and cool which was perfect.  Horseback riding, camping skills, canoeing, archery, horse carting, and hot air balloons were on the agenda.  Great line up with great instructors and lots of fun with the weather.  We were blessed to have been able to do work on our hot air balloons in the auditorium while the storms and hail came through.  Thank the Lord for having His hand in keeping us all safe.  See more about Antlers in the Sooner News.

At our meeting at Magee Lake we spent time in the great outdoors. What an amazing time to just sit back and take in the wonderful things that our Creator has made for us to reflect on Him. It was a high Sabbath with a baptism out at the lake.

Sunday we got to go boating, tubing and swimming out in the lake.

Adventurers worked on the Button Award. They had a blast collecting different types of buttons. They collected them from our church, family, friends, and relatives. Here we are at  the Antlers Fair, where we enjoyed the animals and crafts.
