At the camporee, whether we were relaxing, talking or cooking over the campfire, we all had a GREAT time.  It was such an exciting time visiting with the other clubs, working on honors with them, and having the kids get to know and play the kids from the metro area.   The earthquakes were a very exciting part too!!  We will NEVER forget where we were for the “big one”.

The Moore Mustangs are on a stampede!  The first honor that we began working on is horse husbandry. We had some church members bring their horses, Mocha and Rox so we could learn how to saddle and bridle them. The youth had a great time getting to know them by grooming them and showing them love.

We  had our first fundraiser of the year September 18. A Bake Sale at our church.  We knocked it out of the ballpark and made a whopping 359.50!  The fire department stopped by to show their support and let the kids sit in the fire truck. Without a doubt, that was the highlight of the kids’ day.
