How do you make a campfire?  Well the Sallisaw pathfinders are learning as they are working on Camping skills I honor.

 

Who's hungry?  The  girls cooking pancakes at our March campout.    Yum, Yum

Our club is hard at work on the origami honor--we're making star boxes.

We had fun checking out the tracks at our tracking station.  We saw lots of tracks: bobcat, coyote, raccoon, and bulldozer!

The Nowata Fire learn about welding.  Benton is assisted by Jim while he welds.  Aaron & Jonathan are welding under the close supervision of Jim.  Nowata Fire gets to look directly at the sun through welding helmets to see how they protect.

Megan tries out the Archery game at the campout.   Ray is excited about starting the cars at the Pine Car Derby.

Feb. 19th  we met at the Red Cross in Bartlesville to work on our CPR honor.  This was a major success; we had 6 pathfinders and 4 staff members become CPR Certified.
